THE ROAD TO BULGARIA
THE BEGINNING! After months of emailing, rehearsal, promotion, chasing lost causes, mapping routes and planning this beast it launches this week with a few small local shows to test the materiel and feel the vibe.
BULGARIA, PLOVDIV, BAR FABRIC
Another show booked under the wonderful Mila Ninova at Blue Bridge Solutions agency. Those from the U.K. who know me will remember Telford’s Warehouse in Chester and this place captures those vibes perfectly. This is a free entry event and i’ll be on stage from 8.30pm hosting support acts then headlining around 9.30pm.

2nd show in BULGARIA and under the agency Blue Bridge Solutions with Nina Ninova. She’s been a firebrand for me helping find nice paid gigs. I’m hosting guests from the city and we are jamming together and we are expecting a rowdy crowd. This is going to be fun.

This city is where I met the inspirational character Galin. Thanks to IETM and DIRTY PROTEST for taking me on the journey to this amazing ancient city. I was inspired and loved it. This show above all is the one i’m excited about the most! In an old theatre space built from an underground cavern with a garden looking out onto the mountains.

I was introduced to this venue by the IETM conference last year. Brilliant location and great vibes. Nothing could be programmed officially but i’m invited to perform on site and jam with local folks for an afternoon session and we’ll see where the night takes us.

Leaving Croatian capital in the morning for our journey to Serbia.

Hurtling away from the sea to the beautiful Zagreb in Croatia with our Toby bringing all the good vibes .

We’ll bid goodbye to our friends in Germany and take a scenic drive through Italy then down the Adriatic cost to Trieste for a busking session by the sea.

After Belgium we head to Stuttgart to meet friends who run the O-Team artistic collective who are kindly giving us a place to stay and we are visiting a venue, Galao which has booked full band in August for a show. If there is to be a performance it will be busking and studio rehearsal.

Stopping off in Brussels, Belgium for the Speak Easy event there to do a short guest slot of poems and song and my first gig on the road.
